WW2 aircraft ID film Short Stirling

Post by Nocturna mors »

The intent of this type of film was to reduce friendly-fire incidents and increase kills of enemy aircraft; it would have been shown to both anti-aircraft teams and flight crews and fighter pilots. In many cases the animation for these films was created by the Walt Disney Co. as part of their contribution to the war effort. This film is part of the Periscope Film LLC archive, one of the largest historic military, transportation, and aviation stock footage collections in the USA.

Good hunting there, Tom, I have not seen this piece before. An interesting clip from an American point-of-view.
I must admit, I did not pick the focke wolf 200 out of the 3 aircraft. I was waiting for a Lancaster or relevant.
Cheers,
John
