The book tells the story of the RAF experiences of Dennis Field. Dennis trained as a pilot in Canada and the book follows his progress from initial training through to his posting to 90 Squadron flying Stirlings. He then went on be an instructor on Stirlings and Lancasters. After the war ended he stayed in the RAF with 242 Squadron flying Avro Yorks on long haul flights to India the Far East. The book looks like it will be a good read and a proportion of the sales income goes to the RAF Benevolent Fund. The cover illustration is by Ryan Firchau.
