Aircraft Identification Challenge 179

Post by K4KittyCrew »

Right then, here is a very interesting aircraft ................ from a certain angle, not unlike a famous Short brothers aircraft, but I won't say anymore.
Name of aircraft type and maker required, please.
Good luck!

Alan, I could confirm this but then again, I may not .......... I'm undecided :D so, here is another image. I've been expecting Cliff to throw an answer in but he could be at the Squadron Bar with the other lads.

Ha Ha, i've been barking up the wrong tree, it's a Dornier 19. Is it my imagination, or is that port outer, different from the rest of the engines.

Well done, Alan ............. From this new image, they seemed to look the same but stand corrected if not the case. You'd swear this aircraft ( from the close up photo ) was a mock up for a Stirling.
