Full scale mock up Lanc
Full scale mock up Lanc
Did'nt know about this one, perhaps it should have been posted in the "model" section of the forum . What a beauty,.....looks as though it could be started up and flown off.

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

Seems a shame due to his Hobbit commitments Mr Jackson has missed the opportunity to have the remake released during the 70th anniversary year of the raid.

Yes, we may be bias but consider comparing the 'Hobbit' to the men of 'Bomber Command' ................there really is no comparison is there.highnoon1966 wrote:Seems a shame due to his Hobbit commitments Mr Jackson has missed the opportunity to have the remake released during the 70th anniversary year of the raid.
In fact, there is no comparison with anything, what so ever.

Looks good but the wheels appear somewhat undersized.

I wonder if the wheels are constructed of fibre glass?.... they may have cut a few corners to please the film directors budget and scaled down the size?,...the mock up thus becoming a "cock up"
Or they may be real tyres?....in both instances, the underlying problem being due to inflation
The real joke here is of course,.....this " Lanc" is made in China! ...... the wheels will fall off after a couple of turns!
