Congratulations Alan. Hope you have a great day mate and that someone is buying you a beer and or alike.
As for the aircraft, the nose looks a lot like a Focke Wolf 190 or a Japanese Zero.

Hee hee hee......no :) For some reason, Christmas and Birthday, i always seem to get a good supply of Grouse (not the flying type) and Galaxy chocolate, not that i complain.

Not German, not Jap, although it does look very much like a Nakajima type, which is why i tried to lead you astray. Reckon this will give it away...

The original post looks like a Bloch MB 155 and the revelled pic shows possible MB 151 or MB 152 as well.

Not to hot on the French!
