Although 4 KOSB died the crew all survived the crash and we've contacted the navigator.
Pilot Atkinson emigrated to Canada.
The other clues:-
Long was a policeman from Lewes
Ashton was the eldest, possibly from Wigan
Wright frequented the Green Man Edgware Road
Flynn was a teetotal Scot
We've also contacted a couple of families of the KOSB men
