Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project Update
Hi all
In the greater scheme of things this is a minor setback and personally I'm blaming the Gremlins.
It shouldn't take too much to get it sorted and it's not going to hold us up at the moment

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project Update
Notwithstanding our setback with the beam, we've made some more progress in the same general area, having made the panel that fits under the seat to prevent debris entering the rudder flying controls.

btw, the virus issues with the website seem to have resolved themselves now so it should be safe to browse

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project Update
busy day at the Newark Museum Aerojumble where I bought a few items to busy the cockpit up

The teleflex unit should be fitted in the next week, with the rest following in slow time. The rest of the team were busy having fun and games setting the 1st Pilots' seat up, this still requires some fettling to get it moving smoothly in the vertical plane.

Hi John
Are you aware of this video? This wreck looks beyond salvage as a whole aircraft and its on its back which doesn't help but looks like many, many parts could be salvaged from it.
