Hi All
For my research it is important to me that I have some idea about the weather conditions at the time of the incidents concerned as this may have had a bearing on the outcome. For me in particular I want to animate the incidents and getting the weather right will make it all more realistic, well more accurate perhaps...
Anyway, if you email the Met Office their Archive Information Officer will email you two PDFs (about 12 pages in total) which give weather reports and isobar maps of the UK and a bit of Europe for the 24 Hours that you specify, I have the weather for 2/3 May 1941 now.
I've not read the tables fully but it seems that certain locations about the country have rung in the conditions at intervals and the Met Office have recorded them.
I'm told that these will all be available on the internet soon too. Oh yes - it's free too.
Cheers
James

Oh and the upper hemisphere, but it looks like Europe wasn't ringing in for some reason.....

James, from what I've noticed, the ORB's have a monthly update at the end of each month ............. written by the Adjutant, acting on behalf of the Commanding Officer for the squadron.
I can post some if you wish.
Cheers,
John
