Another of our Bomber Command Heroes passed away this morning after a very long illness. He was taken into Warrington Hospital
yesterday evening. He was 95 years old, and had lived across the road from me for 42 years. He hailed from Liverpool.
W/O Bill Hall was a navigator on a Lancaster and flew many operations over enemy occupied Europe. One of his last
operations was Operation Manna. He will be sadly missed by all his family and neighbours.
We Shall Remember Him.
