Hi Sue
Glad that you're finding out so much about your dad
I don't know whereabouts you are but if you're in the Cambridge area you are more than welcome to visit our progress on building a Stirling forward fuselage

I have a photo of curators at Cosford who decided to re-construct a tail section they have there - it was a day when not much was going on!!

Not sure if I've put that one up Alan but I have certainly seen the image before, cheers.

Have just read about this gentleman and his two crews. I believe his grand daughter wrote about him. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q ... 0896954091

Re: SHORT STIRLING AIRCRAFT & CREW PHOTOGRAPH'S
Hi,
Does anyone have any pictures of 7 squadron? Ideally anything from the period October 1940 - March 1941. I'm hoping to find something that may feature Pilot Officer William Dalgliesh (lost on operations 4th March 1941 - Stirling N3653)

Re: SHORT STIRLING AIRCRAFT & CREW PHOTOGRAPH'S
Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum.
In both the collection of Short Stirling Aircraft and Crew posts, you will find related images but if you also google 'Images' not 'search' 'WW2 RAF 7 Squadron '................ you will pick up all related images which you can copy and paste.
Footnote - If a page won't let you right click to copy ................ go to 'print screen' on your keyboard and paste on the program page you are using to collect images.
Once you have pasted it, you can 'crop' it and resize it to fit the page.
Any problems, let me know.

One for Wayne, a bit grainy, but not bad.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.
