That looks great, John. I hope my spray work will look as good as yours. Congratulations so far.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 9
It's not actually an aircraft but a Narwhal trained by Coastal command to find U Boats. A microphone has been attached to the tip of its horn to pick up the conversations on board the U Boats. It has a transmitter on its back that sends the information back to waiting Swordfish armed with torpedoes....

Re: Airfix Lancaster Build
John, the double action is a Badger 100IL that I picked up from a Pawn Shop for $50 and the single action is an Aztek A2203 that I bought from a local hobby store for $40.

Re: Airfix Lancaster Build
Max, is your airbrush a single action gravity feed type? I've been trying to learn to use a double action gravity feed with mixed results. I keep moving the trigger in the wrong direction at the wrong time. So in the meantime, until I master it, I bought a single action siphon model.

It's good to see that Max is giving other people a chance to answer. Although he could give me all year and I wouldn't get it right.

Max you have too much spare room in your head to be able to store all that information. It took you a mere 22 minutes to post your reply. OK smarty, who was flying it in the photo.

Yes Max, Bella is still there but it's Snoop that is pining for you.
Shows you still have your faculties for an old guy. It only took three posts for you to unmask me.

To complete the list all we need now are the Squadron call signs.

Re: Welcome!
Hi. A friend suggested I look at this site as I have a great interest in Bomber Command and 467/463 Squadrons in particular. I've looked through a lot of the posts and you seem like a decent enough bunch of blokes, but what's this between Halifax and ME453? They're like a couple of old women. I hope...

Re: 467 Sqn 'Ton Up' Lanc
I have the adjacent shot to John's opening picture as my desktop. It was taken a couple of minutes before or after it. Same people, same places but slightly different poses and a different angle. It's no wonder that they can't get the number of missions right as they don't even know when it actually...
