Can't find anything on him up to end of 1943 or in the odd months i have in 1944, so wondering if he was with the squadron later.

Just for starters, his service number shows him enlisting in May 1940 at either Uxbridge, Penarth or Gloucester. I do have the 90sqdn ORB from 1937 to Dec 43, and a few odd months in 44 so will have a look through it over the next couple of days.

Sgt J. Staniforth was the M/U gunner in the crew of F/Lt K.J. Hall. Came into the squadron too late in the war for any bombing operations, but flew 3 Exodus flights to Juvincourt to collect pows on 12th, 16th and 23rd May 45. Crew....... F/Lt K.J. Hall, Pilot. Sgt W. I'm surprised that they can claim it to be that of PK225 without any hard evidence to say it is.
