Alf Woodier 101 Squadron RAF

Post by Ludford101 »

With sadness I have to report that Alf Woodier ex 101 Squadron RAF passed away on the 28th November 2015 after a brief illness.

He was F/E on P/O H.I Davies's crew from Dec 1944 - April 1945 and once again had been a regular attender at the reunions until this year when the health of his wife Audrey prevented them from making the long trip over to Lincolnshire from N.Wales.

Here he is with Audrey in 2013 enjoying a spot of lunch and looking through the training notes of a F/E who was sadly killed at HCU before reaching a squadron around the same time that Al was training.
