A very sad sign of the times we live in, nothing sacred anymore, whether taken for scrap or by an unscrupulous person for his own purposes.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

Thank you Gary for letting us now.
One can only hope that karma catches up with the spineless thief.
The plaques may be gone but the memories of those men will never be lost.
Regards,
John

Hello,

It is a shame.
How can people steal something on a monument dedicated to dead people?
They don't respect anything.
Regards.
