1657 HCU

Post by seeker »

Hi
My name is Martin Alford and my uncle Donald Eric Alford was in 214 squadron. He was lost on the night of 23rd/24th May 1943 along with the rest of his crew. I have started a FaceBook group dedicated to his aircraft and the crew https://www.facebook.com/groups/1440001 ... tif_t=like I was wondering if anyone has any information on his time in 1657 HCU around the time of February / March 1943. I know he joined 214 at the end of March and prior to being at 1657 HCU he would have been at 12 OTU.
Thanks in Advance

Martin

Hi Martin and welcome to the forum.
If any of the folks here have any details, I'm sure they'll surface.
Cheers,
John
