Hi John,
Thanks for enlarging the drawing. These are who the characters are in the drawing.
Slim....F/Sgt A.L P. Gibson, RCAF.
Smiley,....F/Sgt J.L. Miriams.
Red,.... F/Sgt V. Parrott, RCAF.
Hicky,....F/Sgt F.W. Hickman.
Me,....Sgt J.T. Hadland.
Jinx,....Sgt J. Vicary.
Mac,....F/Sgt L.J. McCarthy, RAAF.
Now all i have to do is plough through my very ill kept files to search for the photo i know i have, of J.T. Hadland.

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

Re: Doodling (Mk 2)
Thank you to Alan for posting my Uncles drawing.
It is good to see these drawings that were done by our loved ones at very difficult times.
To save you having to search for the photo of my uncle I have posted it.
Regards,
Gary

Somewhere up in the sunlight were the loveliness never dies,
You live in a land of glory, mid the splendour of the skies,
As we who have known and loved you, Whose passing caused us tears,
Will cherish your memory always, to strengthen the coming years

Hi Gary,
Thanks for posting the photo, which i do have in my "researched" airmen files, but cannot think of why i forgot to post, back in July 2012. I'm glad you don't mind it being posted. From the comments by others on the forum, it is very much appreciated.
Regards...Alan.
