Bombing Image - Which Aircraft?

Post by K4KittyCrew »

Well, I'm on the lookout for more photo to add to the forum and I came across this image. The problem I have is that the heading says ......supposedly from the movie - BOMBER BOYS: The B.C.A.T.P. and an R.C.A.F. Lancaster Crew.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but, the glass section look like a Stirling but definitely not a Lancaster, yes or no?

I would say Stirling as well. Attached photo is another also listed incorrectly as a Lancaster Bomb Aimer

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

I think no doubt with that one not much comes close to the Stirling perspex configuration.
