I would hate to use my "thousand posts" mark, with a wrong answer, but, is it a Mikoyan Mig 3.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

At first glance, it is not unlike a Focke Wulf FW-190 type variant.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge 194
Well ! i keep coming back to it, but no further forward at all. Hard to say whether or not a "Radial" engine, as it's chopped off just enough not to reveal it

I think you have a point there, Alan. As my father would say, "you get nothing for nothing and little for tuppence".AlanW wrote:Well ! i keep coming back to it, but no further forward at all. Hard to say whether or not a "Radial" engine, as it's chopped off just enough not to reveal it
