A book written by John Reid, who a lot of us will know, has just been published by Stenlake Publishing Limited. I have just purchased a copy and it looks a very comprehensive day to day history of 199 covering the wide variety of roles in which the Squadron were involved.
A fine tribute to the men of 199 and the author.

Re: Let Tyrants Tremble - 199 Squadron
I can strongly recommend John Reid’s book "Let Tyrants Tremble" a diary of No.199 Squadron. Using the ORB as a theme John skilfully inserted numerous anecdotes and details on the squadron, it's crews and operations. An array of crisp good sized quality photographs makes this a most welcome addition to any book shelf.
John is a friend of many years and this is a fitting tribute to his dedication and tireless work towards all things Stirling.
