Here is a review of the info I have on some Stirling crashes. Contact me for a copy.
General Stirling Failures - 3 Pages detailing work on Stirling Tail failures, contains graphs and calculations. Also another 4 pages with dimensioned drawings of the Stirlings tail plane leading edge. 4 pages from Shorts discussing the failures. A 16 page report on the strength of the Stirling in the affected areas. Letter regarding the incorrect fitting of mild steel bolts to the elevator levers. 6 pages on the root attachment of Tail Plane (general plus drawings). 7 pages on weaknesses in the wing boom provoking spar fractures. Stirling Tail load calculations. Report on artificial horizons
Rocket Assistance - 8 pages on failure of U/C during rocket assisted take off trials
Single page report on the U/C failure of the Stirling Prototype!
(A general note - I have spread the reports over a number of posts in the hope that people 'googling' are more likely to find the page)

Hi John
There are photos - mostly of crashed Stirling parts because the reports are of crashes, I'll dig the images out and put them in the Photos section.
Cheers
