Dear all I have a request in relation to finding any examples of internal images of the Stirling Flight Engineer station. Pino has kindly provided some small images showing the station but I very much would like an example with the Flight Engineer present. This is proving frustratingly difficult.... if at all possible I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks Colin

Last and most uncomfortable position! You can just see the metal work of his seat in the foreground. I assume that he could only use this to view his controls as it was bolted down. Who knows how long he had to stand for.

James.
This last image is superb, one I have never seen and it provides great detail in respect of several areas of interest. Can I ask if you know any more information as to Squadron or identities. Thank you for your effort with my post, much appreciated.

Re: Flight Engineer Station
Hi Colin
Sadly I am very bad at recording information about the images, mainly because I only need to see build details for my model. I would note that this must be a later Stirling as there is a bulkhead door between the nav and the engineer but that's about it.
The pic you like isn't rare, I have seen it on the 'net' a few times. I'll see if I can find more details for you.
Cheers
