Get Well Soon to Alan W

Post by K4KittyCrew »

Just had a message from one of my and the boards' good mates, Alan W.

He was rushed to hospital and after a week or so, has now been released and sent home.
We are very lucky to have him still with us so Alan, if your reading the threads, take care friend, we are thinking of you.
Alan has helped many, many members and people in general, by spending countless hours reading ORB's to find records of their loved ones who flew with Bomber Command.

Alans a great guy and is held in the highest regard by us here on the forum.
Cheers,
John and the forum members.

I don't know the details of Alan's hospitalization but I'm thankful to hear that he's back home, and my prayers and wishes for a quick and complete recovery.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks guys, scary times but home resting under the watchful eye of the missus who, is a Practitioner in the Hospital Emergency Dept where i was admitted. It took nearly 4hrs for her to persuade stubborn old me that it was NOT a severe case of indigestion :o before i finally gave in and let her take me in. A lesson learned the hard way.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.
