Looks like a Traffic Warden giving a ticket... where on earth did they park it? lol

Here are some photos with crew names and some details, from the Australian War Museum records. Some images from 7 sqn, 199 sqn, 218 sqn etc.
The first image is very rare ............. taken from a Short Stirling on a daylight raid.

Re: SHORT STIRLING AIRCRAFT & CREW PHOTOGRAPH'S
Hi all,
Just noticed this photo above of the Halliburton crew from 75 (NZ) Squadron.
On the night of 28/29 April 1943 the squadron sent 8 Stirling's to drop mines in Kiel Bay.
Unfortunately 4 of the 8 Stirlings did not return, with the loss of all 28 aircrew.
The Halliburton crew were only on their 6th op when lost, in the Stirling behind them in the photo W7513 AA-G.
The Flight Engineer, third from left, Sergeant Devinder Singh Sidhu was born in India and joined the RAF at the outbreak of the war.
