Hi Folks, we often talk about whether 'Training Units' flew on operations and whilst looking for some other details, I came across this example ........... which took in quite a large effort.
Now, who could say that this would of taken in units from OTC's and or HCU"s ?????????????
AND ....... Would have counted on the crews tour number?
John

Re: Training Units on Operations ........
Hi John,
I would have to say that as the "feint" was classed as a training exercise, it would not count as an op, even though it was used in conjunction with the main force. But i stand to be corrected if wrong.

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.
